Matthew Greeley, Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Matthew Greeley is Founder and CEO of Brightidea, the global leader in On-Demand InnovationPipeline Management (IPM) software.

Prior to founding Brightidea, Matthew consulted for, helping them to raise capital at a $100 million valuation from investors including: Polaris Ventures, Goldman Sachs, and CBS Corporation. Before joining, Matthew co-founded Silicon Valley enterprise software provider Alyanza Software, which was acquired by Niku eight months after founding, yielding triple digit returns to early investors. Matthew began his career at FMK Advisors, an east coast hedge fund, where he focused on marketing and fund raising.

He holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and studied Creativity and Marketing at Stanford University.

Vincent Carbone, Founder and Chief Operating Officer

Vincent Carbone co-founded Brightidea with Matthew Greeley. Bringing strong business and technological leadership to the organization, he is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the company as well as contributing to its strategic growth. In addition, Vincent oversees the implementation and overall success of the company's largest customers and projects.

Prior to Brightidea, Vincent was an account manager at McCaffery, Ratner, Gottlieb and Lane where he successfully managed projects for the Warner-Lambert family of companies and Olympus of America.

Vincent holds an MBA in International Business from Clemson University's CIMBA program.

Gretchen Hoffman, Vice President of Marketing

Gretchen Hoffman is Vice President of Marketing at Brightidea, responsible for leading branding, product marketing and lead generation efforts to help propel further success of Brightidea. She is a multi-talented, multi-channel cloud marketing leader with a demonstrated record of success shaping and launching strategies that position both startup and established companies for sustainable revenue growth and heightened user engagement. She is a results driven marketer who uses infectious creativity, analysis and business-oriented practicality to deliver beyond expectations. Gretchen is an inspirational and focused leader passionate about building teams from the ground up and maximizing individual strengths.

Prior to joining Brightidea, Gretchen stepped in as VP of Marketing at NetBase as well as held positions as VP, Global Lead Generation & Field Marketing at NetBase social analytics, Genesys contact center and Alcatel-Lucent telecommunications.

Gretchen holds a BFA from Ohio Wesleyan University and MBA in Marketing at Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Claus Abildgren, Vice President of Sales

Claus Abildgren is Vice President of Sales for Brightidea, responsible for accelerating profitable growth for the company. Prior to joining Brightidea, Claus was the Director of Global Channel Strategy at Invensys, where he also led a corporate wide innovation program across the organization. In addition to his first hand experiences with driving an innovation agenda, he brings over 12 years of global sales and management expertise to the company.

As a passionate customer advocate, Abildgren creates tangible results via hands-on business leadership, technology expertise as well as a deep-rooted understanding of the challenges facing Brightidea's current and future customers. Abildgren holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Technical University of Denmark and graduated with honors from the MBA program of the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business.

Genevieve Wang, Vice President of Product

Genevieve brings 11 years of product management, corporate innovation, and design thinking experience to her role at Brightidea, where she is responsible for creating and executing a market-leading product strategy that delights customers and fuels growth.

Innovation has been a recurring theme in Genevieve's career, even prior to her joining Brightidea - from product and brand innovation consulting with corporate clients at Continuum, to launching new food and beverage product lines at Jamba Juice, to developing web and mobile product offerings at the digital health company, Zipongo, where she most recently worked as the head of product.

Genevieve graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University with an A.B. in Economics and holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.

Luis Ostdiek, Vice President of Technology

Luis Ostdiek currently leads the Advanced Technology and Infrastructure groups at Brightidea and assists the company with key clients on the role of Innovation software in their Web 2.0 roadmaps. Luis joined Brightidea from IBM where he was the youngest-ever technologist to be named a Distinguished Engineer. While at IBM, he served as chairman of the Architecture Board and worked closely with eBay and Linden Labs, the creators of Second Life. As part of this role, he advised IBM executives and clients on the impact of Web 2.0 technologies in the workplace. In addition, as IBM's chief architect to eBay, he developed solutions that allowed the online auction site to scale from 20 million to over 200 million users. Luis has also filed five patents on his work on highly-scalable systems.
