What is the template?

The SWOT Analysis template is a framework to understand strategic and competitive positioning.

SWOT stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. Strengths and weaknesses are internal factors. Opportunities and threats, by contrast, are usually external factors.

How do you use it?

The following steps will help you get started using the SWOT Analysis template.

Step 1: Define the focus

Before kicking off the session, ensure the team is aligned on what will be evaluated in the session.

Step 2: Brainstorm

Either brainstorm as a team or spend time doing self-reflection following by sharing. Focus on one quadrant at a time, slowly working your way around the grid.
